  As mentioned above, since your cornea is thin and a flap procedure was not done, chances are more likely that you did not undergo the conventional LASIK, but underwent PRK or Epi Lasik. With these procedures, since there is no risk of flap displacement, risks of damaging your eyes are lesser.
