Hi Lee1971cars. Yes unfortunately I still have some degree of numbness although seems to have improved. If the treatment still meant to be working away at 3-6 months then maybe it takes that long for the side effects to settle too. Try not to worry as it is a slow progressive process. Hope it turns out well for you :-)
Sorry in my last message was meant to type I can't see much difference on photos. The swelling has gone down and although pain, tenderness and numbness is still there, it has improved.
Thanks for your comment OneRedSkirt. I am still being hopeful so will see. It's been 5 days since I had it done. Still tender, swollen and sore around the jawline and feels a little numb too. Hope that improves as the swelling goes down. I have been offered top up treatment around the eyes as they were an area I wanted doing but couldn't focus on that area much on the day due to the pain. I intend to topup on significant painkillers before hand next time. I may try the ones uoi suggested. My pain threshold is usually quite good and it was very intense pain that I was feeling. Too much to be just a difference of opinion. Would be interested in knowing the underlying difference of why people have different pain experiences with this treatment.
