I am actually able to find gen. Retin-a .05 CREAM at Sams club for $50.88. I was also pleasantly suprised when I went to pick it up that my health insurance covered the cost and I only had to pay my $5 copay. Could the micro-gel possible be that much more? Specifically ask for the Generic version, I do know the name brand is VERY expensive.
