I had my upper and lower done in January and I am just starting to feel good about my eyes now. I had very bad swelling and thought the dr messed up and I would look awful. Now I am so happy that I did the surgery. Please be patient. It really takes time for swelling to go down!!!
I completely agree!!! What's frustrating is that they tell you it's such a simple procedure. What they don't tell you is how long it really takes to heal and look good!!! But it is worth it!!!
I did use vitamin e on the scars although my surgeon said I didn't hAve to. I have to tell you that it healed very nicely!!! You can hardly see them at all. Even the corners which were the worst looks great!!!
I had my upper and lower eyes done in jan and I am just now starting to really love the results. I was very swollen and afraid I messed up my face by doing this surgery. My surgeon, who is a very experienced facial surgeon did not seem concerned and told me it takes from 6 mth to a year to get the full results. He kept reassuring me and said he would not touch the eyes for at least a year. Now it has been 4 mths and I am really happy i did the surgery!!! Please give it time!! Good luck!!
I had upper and lower bleph 13 days ago and I hear you I have been on an emotional roller coaster too. I don't know why I was thinking after a week I would be fine to go out and about. My eyes are still swollen and you can see where the incisions were made on the outer corners of both my eyes. I am still stuck in my house and going nuts!!! I can't wait to feel normal again!!!
