Your new smile is looking really good! There's already a noticeable difference from your 5-6 week. It looks like it will keep getting better. Very pretty!

That's great! It sounds like things are going your way. I, like you, had perfectly straight teeth after Invisalign, but it's not great for closing spaces or accurately fine tuning and definitely has limitations. The cost of braces suck, especially in my area, but I know it will be worth it. I'm glad you're here and posting. I don't feel alone in my process and glad to know somebody understands, it's not just about having straight teeth, there's so much more to it!!!

That's exactly what I'm going through right now but on my uppers. Seems things are moving to the right and there are spaces. I'm only 3 weeks in and I'm told the constant shift is normal. Sometimes I bite so high and so far to the right that I have the worst headaches. It's not a clenching or grinding issue but literally an issue of biting opposite my proper alignment. I'm trying to have faith especially since it's so new. I realize teeth move differently with braces than Invisalign, I just didn't realize teeth had to be displaced to come back together correctly. They're not crooked or I'd understand... grrr. I'll be thinking about you and checking in. This round of ortho needs to go right for both of us!

A lady at my ortho office had the same issue. Her 4 bicuspids were pulled as a child before her braces were placed. It really messed up her bite. As an adult she had implants to replace missing teeth and braces again. Her teeth and smile are beautiful. She said she has a much better bite too.
