i did have baseline mammogram the year before the surgery!

the only side effect i have had has been a made headache when i have not had an injection in awhile which soon disappears...other than that it is great!

the noise is 24/7 and i use a fan sometimes at night..if i can get my mind off of it then the noise does not bother me...the surgery will be 4 weeks thursday...with the healing process i have had some strange/weird feelings going on in my head and i was told this would happen...and i really do think nerves were cut around the ear and they are trying to come back together. i spoke last night with an internist (go to church with him) and explained what was going on...he said that i was in the early stages of healing and this is really a wait and see game....i also told him sometimes how my ear feels plugged and full he said there is the possiblity that fluid will get behind the ear drum and this could have possibly gotten by the ent when he did do the exam a couple of weeks ago..other than this ringing problem and it affecting my "quality of life" the healing process from the lift is going well. i am going to try and make an appt. today with another ent not the one before but in the same practice to see if there is fluid in my left ear...the left side even seems more swollen than the right.

saw the surgeon 2 weeks ago and will see him again this week....he had not heard of this before....he is ent trained when i saw him he examined my left ear and saw blood on the eardrum and advised me to wash out with water and peroxide i did..no help. went to ent doctor and cleaned out both ears ..still rings. he said this was not related to the surgery...what i think is i am still healing and alot of nerves were cut...the ringing only appeared after the surgery....the ent doctor did do a hearing test and got very excited when he discovered i had a hearing loss and he may get to fit me with hearing aids. needless to say i will not be back....i may try the homeopathic remedies you mentioned. thanks

i am 55 and had my face and brow lift 3 weeks ago....i feel good but i am still swollen....i have this constant ringing in my ears that appeared when the bandages were removed the day after surgery...meaning..it was not there before the surgery. i have had both ears cleaned out by an ent and the ringing is still there...help?
