My diplopia was caused by me having a acoustic neuroma removed which left me with right sided facial palsy I could not blink causing my eye to be really painful so the hospital injected botox into my eyelid to close my eye but when it opened 3 months later I had diplopia.because I could still not blink they decided I had to have tarsorrhapy which was not undone for over a year. I saw the botox injection on youtube and it looked like it was being injected into the eyeball and scared the life out of me.
