I had 1st bleth done on 1/11/13, and was very disappointed. Still had hooding on outside of L eye and my R eye was droopy and looked hollow. Dr. said he needed to do a minor "revision". This basically entailed going in and removing the incision line, and redoing, with one being slightly higher and the other slightly lower than during initial surgery. BTW, this was on 2/6/13, just under 1 month- This time it was strictly skin, and he did in office with only Novocaine. Ok, I am a WIMP, but it really was a piece of cake! Had stitches removed yesterday and even with slight swelling, my eyes look better than before I started!
I took Bromelain 3x/day starting the day after- Very minimal bruising and swelling.
Under correction is MUCH BETTER than over correction (inability to close eyes, etc...), and was well worth the revision. Just make sure you have a good Dr.!!!
