500 calories a day is a starvation diet. It is unhealthy and unsustainable. The only way to lose weight is to eat slightly less calories that you burn each day. And the only way to keep it off is to eat the same number of calories you need per day. The only 2 ways to alter the balance of calories is to reduce consumption (calories in) and increase activity (calories burned). It's not rocket science. There's no magic pill or drops.
