My Journey to a Better Me...-3/19/13 updates

7 weeks today! My breast are healing great. Still some minor soreness but nothing to truly complain about. Now I just deal with itchiness from the incisions areas. My left nipple still has the burning sensation. I still feel that they could be smaller, although everyone says if I go any smaller they wouldn't fit my body. I'm still not convinced I'm going to be a C cup, I'm thinking more of a D to DD. The weight lose is going well. I've lost a total of 12 pounds down to 143. My goal is 135, although honestly I just want to be healthy and in shape. My sweetie comes home in 18 months from his PCS, and I want to be FIERCE when he returns:). I hope all of you are healing well and getting back to life. This BR procedure has truly been a journey. There are days I just can't believe I did this ( not in a bad way). I've been doing some spring cleaning got rid of a lot of clothes that are now too big. I'm ready to go shopping and purchase clothes that fit. I'm going to go this weekend to be resized again hopefully I won't be as disappointed as the last time. I will keep in my head not to think of a number just look at how good they look. I pray your recovery goes well. Trust me its not all a bed of roses but on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 9. Since I've gone back to work there are days when I experience some discomfort but I'm still able to continue on. My only concern is I wish they were a little smaller, now I'm wishing I said a B cup because I feel like they are a D if not DD. They still look better then before.
