To decrease the lines on your upper lip, it works best if you use a single needle and just needle your wrinkles. Afterwards you can do your whole lip with a roller, but to get rid of those stubborn upper lip wrinkles, I have found that single needling those wrinkles works best. It has worked for me at least. You also need to be very patient. It took me a good 6-8 months to see good results. I had pretty deep wrinkles and a small scar on the left side of my lip. After single needling every 2 weeks x 6 times and waiting another 6-8 months, the wrinkles are almost gone...the scar is totally gone...I can barely see any wrinkling there!!! It's amazing if it's done the right way...with a single-needle and patients. Good luck...

Vicki b, I have been treating my upper lip for about a year and a half now. I use a single needle and I start out doing it once every 2 weeks for a total of 6 times, then give it a break for 6 months. I wish I had taken pics before I started because the results have been amazing. I did have a little scare at week 3 because my upper lip started all of a sudden looking worse...but, after another week, it started smoothing out a bit. Now though, you can barely see any upper lip lines. I asked my sister-in-law how my upper lip lines looked yesterday and she asked "what lines are you talking about? I can't find any lines." !!...I keep looking in the mirror because I can't believe it has worked this well. I am a nurse, so I understand the whole concept of collagen rushing toward the injured spot along with other really good stuff...but to actually see it work...to actually see my upper lip get fuller and watch the wrinkles disappear from it...well, it's nothing short of a miracle. I see some negative reviews on this, but I also notice that these women who get negative results either are not doing it correctly or are seeing the skin get worse before it gets better...only they don't wait until it gets better, they just keep on needling every day. Your skin needs a healing period in between needling. Needling too frequently may cause scarring. So, if your going to try this, don't do it so often...yo have to be patient, then you will see great results!!! I love this ant-wrinkle treatment!!!

Wow! Those are really nice results. I have been using the single needling technique on my upper lip lines. I started doing the lines every 2 weeks for 3 months. I use Retin A and Vit. C right after needling. I am absolutely amazed with the results. At first I was a little scared because after that initial swelling went down, the wrinkles actually looked worse for a few weeks. Then the lines started to decrease. Now, a year and a half later...I am doing another round just like last time. Why? Because the lines are almost gone. In fact there are a few that are totally gone, so I am going to work on the rest. I suspect, because of the results so far, that this will take the lines that are left completely away. My biggest regret is that I didn't take any before pictures so that I had a record of this. Needling has already changed my life...I don't hide my lips behind my hands anymore...I smile and show my beautiful, non-wrinkled mouth!! Valerie LPN

I went to Ebay and bought mine. Only paid about 10 dollars for it. I use Vitamin C and Retin-A with the roller and after it's use. Then I apply vasaline to the area. This helps it fade quicker and soothes the area. Good luck!!

Yes, it does make my face red for about 3 days before it fades completely away. You shouldn't wear any makeup for 24 hours after you roll. Hope this helps!! Good luck.
