I really appreciate the advice and support. I really think there may be more to my recovery than just swelling but then again I am not a PS. I have a follow up next month with my PS. Then he should be able to tell me if I have festoons or marla bags. I just do not feel good about the bulge overlapping the top of my cheek and the bottom of my eyelids. It seem that it could be more edema but then again it kind of feels like a clot and the skin looks different than the rest of the eyelid. Wish me luck

I am 7 weeks post today from having lower eyelid surgery with skin pinch. I am 38 years old and have had other types of cosmetic plastic surgery threw out my life and none was as mentally draining as this one. If I could turn back time I would never had this surgery. My surgery to date looks as if my PS removed skin and lifted my under eye bags to a different area. I still have under eye bags which my PS tells me it is trap edema from surgery and the body will absorb eventually. These PS has a very good sales pitch and need to stop telling patients lies on time frame it will take to heal and get back to normal. This has been a headache for me. If I only knew before what I know now....
