Hi, I have the same problem and I am eight weeks PO. I thought I was looking at my pictures when I saw yours that is how similar they look. Please, let me know what your surgeon says and if you consider having revision. I thought from the beginning that my surgeon was wrong choosing high profile that left me with a huge gap between breasts and no cleavage. I wonder if we need to pay for the implants if we chose to have revision with a different profile of implant. I agree with you that your surgeon, like mine, made the pocket too bigh on the sides. Do you sleep with a bra on at night? Do you massage them?

I am going to see him next week. I needed some advice before going to the appointment in order to ask him the right questions.

Hello! Smoking is bad! I have to agree with that but I don't think that is the reason for your infection. Bacteria is the reason for the infection. I had BA one month ago and I've been smoking since the day of the surgery without getting any infection on the wounds. Smoking will delay your recovery. Is any pus coming out of the wound? If so, your doctor should do a culture to figure out what kind of bacteria you have and see if the bacteria is resistent maybe to the antibiotics that you were prescribed. Some bacteria develop strains resistant to certain antibiotics. Good luck!

Hello! I had them both at once. The labiaplasty was covered by my health insurance and I had to pay just a portio of it. That depends of what kind of health insurance you have, if your plan covers this kind of procedure and what plan you have. I paid $300 for my labiaplasty with the insurance coverage. For BA I had to pay $5600. The recovery was long and in the beginning painful. It took me five weeks to get back to normal. Remember that everybody is different and there are so many factors that influence your recovery. For example, if you choose the labiaplasty wedge method vs trim or if you have more breast tissue to start with vs flat chest. Also, you might want to ask the surgeon to prescribe you some antibiotics in order to avoid infections. It happened to me and it kind of screwed up my scar from labiaplasty.
