Dear Why,
Can you please tell us who was the doctor that corrected your knees? It is nice to start a real list of doctors that have helped somewhat and that we can get consultations from that will give us some real advice that we can use....if only for the advice to balance out information that maybe other doctors have given us. It would be really helpful and I don't think anyone would hold you responsibile for the doctor....we are all responsible for our research and decisions....it would just really be nice to consult with a doctor that you know has helped someone in our condition. Thanks so much and really thank you for sharing your story. I am thinking that if we all share and share our experiences that maybe we can find a solution together. I will always share here if I try something to correct this. Confuzed
Hi Why....I have problems with my knees and thighs also after lipo....awful...could you shoot me an email and tell me the name of the wonderful surgeon that corrected your knees somewhat?.....I really wish I could at least wear mid leg length shorts....when your knees are messed up you just can't even wear the long shorts...and forget about knee length dresses or bathing suit....it just sucks and I am in search of names of surgeons that have had some success correcting these bad outcomes so that I can interview them and start to get a real consensus on the best person and best way to improve my situation. I have email here on realself.....thanks in advanced....and trust me....I understand so deeply how this affects eveyone's life that has had the misfortune to be dealing with this.
I can see the small indention on the inner thigh. It looks small so I think you could get it fixed with a fat graft...you could even use just filler...like Radiesse if you don't want to do more surgery. Radiesse is expensive and not really a great option if an area is large and will be in need of a lot of the product but yours looks smaller and might be an option. I recommend finding someone that does mesotherapy and is reputable and that will go slow (meaning....very conservative) to smooth out the waviness on the outer thigh. I am dealing with some problems like these and the mesotherapy smoothed out a wavy area on my thigh....which was very nice but I also have some indentations that need a fat graft....so good luck.....I know you did not get the results you are looking for but it looks fixable to me...because the indentations don't look too deep.
Nice.....well....let me see....my plastic surgeon who was "well known" is triple board certified. The American Board of Plastic Surgery, The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and The American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Consistently voted "Super Doc" by Texas Monthly....recognized by consumer's research council of America as one of "America's Top Plastic Surgeons".....blah, blah, blah......at the end of the day my surgery was botched. I did all the research in the world and spoke to people....looked at pictures....contacted medical board to inquire about complaints.......it didn't mean squat in my case. So, my point is that you sounded like you thought you were a little superior to the original post because you did not experience any problems and you did some research. Well it is a devastating thing to go through and the last thing anyone needs who is experiencing this is to be chastised by some unknown person about what they should have done and even intimate that they got what they deserved.....that's all. Also, I agree that an OB/GYN (looking at fat chicks all day?) is not a Plastic Surgeon and I also know that a Chiropractor is not a MEDICAL DOCTOR. Now go spread some more joy sweetie! :)
