i did not have new smaller implants put in, i just wanted a lift so that they weren't saggy etc. i am very happy with the new size i have even tho they are smaller i still have a b cup and they are perkier for sure. i hated my implants too, and it feels so good to wear medium shirts that aren't busting apart. i don't feel so top heavy. the implants really made me look so heavy. frankly, my big boobs were embarrassing, and i am so mad at myself for ever getting them. i have been losing weight (20lbs) so that its not so noticable to family and friends... i don't want them to know, or ask. when i got the implants i didn't tell anyone, and now i don't want anyone to know i had them removed. i am hoping my weight loss will disguise the removal / lift. i did buy some padded bras to help with my newest issue :-)
when are you planning the surgery?
thank you for the encouragement! i am concerned about some scabbing, oozing and stitch separation that appeared about 5 days ago. it seems to be getting worse and it doesn't look like its going to heal well without additional scars. the dr. gave me silvadene cream and I've been using it faithfully, he thinks it will heal just fine, and tells me its all too early to get nervous about it. i am worried about it turning into necrosis. and he says he will do any scar revision needed at no additional cost to me if its need :/ i am just scared. i am happy with the new smaller boobs, the lift looks great & i was surprised that i am not flat as a board. i still have something there. i am a b size now. my incisions aren't equal on both sides either, the dr. said there was some asymmetry going on and in order to make them the same size; the incision on my left breast is higher than the right. i was not expecting that. so right now i feel a little "franken-boobie". i've been comparing my recovery to photos online :( but.... i am so happy to have my big implants out. i had them for 12 years and after 2 years really hated them.
Sounds like you are happy with the outcome. I also had breast lift with implant removal done Dec 14th (3 week post op today)....not sure if I'm as happy yet. I still have a lot of bruising and worried about my incisions healing nicely. (So happy to have implants out tho!!) I am going to post my story later. I'm anxious to see your recent photos.
