I asked this too since I'm going on a trip in just over a month. My PS said you can sit in the water at 4 weeks he doesn't recommend actually swimming laps till about 6 weeks after surgery!

I have a 7 month old its taking all my might not to carry her around and cuddle her :( it will be 10 days tomorrow and tomorrow is the first time I will be left with her for the full day! I will need lots of rest today to perpare that's forsure!

Hello ladies, i went to my doctors after thinking i had bloating and constipation, turns out I have pancreatitis and will have to be on a all clearfluid diet to see if it will sort itself out. Short story... if you feel something is wrong GO TO THE DOC. I have a healthy 20 year old turns out anything can happen even in surgeries like this. Has any one else heard of pancreatitis after surgery?
