Hi ladies I hope everyone is feeling fantastic! I am so pleased to report I am back to running and working out daily. I'm taking classes at the gym and just started doing Ab work in them this week. I feel so much less swollen and wore a bikini for the fist time in 10 years yesterday. Life is good! My scar is ugly and red (I'm fair skinned and a redhead) so that was to be expected but the placement is good and I would not undo this surgery for anything!!! I hope you all are doing well!
You are 100% right about the expense!! I had to have a fancy watch and shoes and clothes and earbuds..lol and race entry fees etc... It never ends. I am running more for time and cardio. My legs are pretty weak and as soon as I get to 3 miles the brick wall comes up. I can walk forever. I also interesting enough have developed asthma since surgery. I have to use an inhaler before and after a run. Doctor has no clue why. Weird... Well girl keep me posted on how your feeling or FB me through Lourdes or BDancer I'm Shelly and I have a running pic as my cover and a Detroit Red Wings Profile pic.
Oh Sheeney I hate that you are just having to live with the pain. I swear I had something nerve related for only 2 weeks and it was excruciating. I was hoping maybe yours went away as mysteriously as mine did. I'm sorry it didn't.
I am doing well thanks for asking. I'm almost 100%. I'm running everyday and going to start strength training. I never did a lot of AB work prior to surgery due to a bad back so I'm not sure how much I'll do now. It's been a long road but I'm very satisfied with my outcome.
