Erica Sue - I'm doing lipo strictly for me. It won't get rid of the belly fat completely (it would be more likely that I get ripples/dents etc if they did), but I feel like my body would be better proportioned after the procedure. I've literally tried everything. About 2 years ago, I worked out even HARDER (current routine plus 1hr of extra cardio 3x/week on "lifting" days) with a slightly stricter diet, and was actually about 20lbs lighter. I didn't like the result - my face looked famished, my body was muscular and lean, and I still had belly fat. Since then, the weight I've put on has been almost all muscle and a LITTLE fat -- just enough to fill out my face again and make me look healthy. My goals have been reached, shy of the mid-section, and hopefully, after lipo, I'll have the finished product, which will be my job to maintain.
