Loss of sensation is a known risk BUT it can also take a long time for nerves to reconnect so don't worry. It is normal and there's nothing you can do.
I paid for mine and was pleasantly surprised to get insurance coverage for part of it. The fee was $16,000 and my dr Did beautiful job. Some drs charge a reduced amount if outside insurance. I'm not sure why its the same procedure and this practice helps contribute to our insurance problems. But, use it to your advantage. Good luck.
Hi Tisha. I only had drains overnight, but they were horrible. Glad yours are out. The first week is tough but it is temporary. I'm 4 + weeks out and thrilled to pieces and my scars are already looking good! Hang in there
How reassuring to know this nipple extreme sensitivity is normal. I'm 3 weeks and one day. Went back to work today. My co worker asked me why I kept shielding the girls. Sometimes I forget I'm out in public. My ps recommended scar fix instead of the silicone tape. So far so good but it does not provide any sensitivity protection.
