I am still wearing mine. I am afraid if I don't I will puff out all over again LOL. I just feel more secure and my nurse said she wore hers for 5 months. Let us know what your ps says.
I hate to tell you this but 2 weeks after, and you are a busy nurse, will not be enough time. The pain will be tolerable but what has amazed me and many other ladies, is how tired you get even doing menial things. Good luck to you :-)
Hi Keaton1970: Don't get too down on yourself. I think what you have is something called "dog ears". I am 9 weeks out. I have what I call a "mouse nose" right under my BB. There is also a sack of flab. Everything else looks great. My PS told me I have a "dog ear" and laughed when I told him it looks more like a mouse nose LOLand he would fix it in about 4 months. Since I am not in any hurry I told him that would be fine. So ask your PS about it and he will probably say it can be fixed with local medication. So don't feel upset because I'm sure you will end up looking wonderful!! Take care :-)
Roswellmom: I feel so badly for you. I can't believe you are still having to deal with drains. I was fortunate to have a PS who didn't use drains because he stitched the upper skin to the muscles below. You have had such a rough road but hang in there because it can only get better. Once you are able to do normal activities this surgery will be only a dream. I will always keep you in my thoughts. :-)
Hi carolynburton I had my TT and MR and lipo on March 7 and the two most important items I bought were the toilet seat riser and the walker. I made due with pillows but I swear by those two items. Good luck. It will be over before you kinow it :-)
