I just realized you have not schedule yet when i replied earlier. Let us know when you decide! Can't wait to see your transformation! It's rough but it's worth it. It's a major surgery and I was thinking it would be a breeze...don't know what I was thinking. I know I made the right decision now, just wish I had been more prepared for the recovery. Not everyone recovers t the same pace, and I would get upset seeing others so far ahead, so I really had to keep grounded that my journey would be unique for me just as your journey will be for you. Glad you are doing your due diligence with interviewing surgeons. I interviewed and researched as well...again...keep us posted! I'm so excited for you!
Thank you Elije! I am feeling great these days. I still have that feeling of being pulled tight with duct tape but its tolerable. I tried to go without my spanx for bed but I just can't yet. I need to have it on otherwise I feel bad. I honestly have not started major workouts yet. I walk as much as possible and starting doing lots of housework again lol. As soon as the weather gets a little nicer I will start biking again with my hubby. I don't know about you, but I still have trouble getting in and out of the car sometimes and if I sit too long I get like a burning feeling in hip area. Went shopping but still couldn't fit in a smaller size because of swelling, but I did invade my daughters closet for new jeans! She didn't like that much! Haha. I do absolutely love my results and can't wait til swell hell is completely gone!! Hope you are doing well, too!!
Oh my gosh!! I am so sorry you are dealing with this! Your doctor should not be putting you off. I agree with the other ladies...it's appalling! Maybe your doctor has no idea what the receptionist is doing. I have heard of that before. My PS was wonderful. (Dr Iteld!) He saw me the day after then at 1, 3, 5 and I just saw him for my 7 weeks. I always saw my PS and not a nurse or assistant. I am scheduled again for 6 weeks later on May 7, but he said if i have any questions or issues at all to come in sooner. He even gave my husband his cell phone after I was having some issues after my drains came out. (My hubby did have to call him and doc even answered the phone himself! Hubby was pleasantly surprised.) Does you doctor have an email or something where you can contact him directly? Or maybe a nurse in the office that can intervene? Good luck and God bless!
