I agree with what others have said: you're beautiful either way! However, DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!! Bottom line. It's your face, your beauty, YOUR decision! My advice- research, research, research! Go to a lot of consultations and try to get a feel for what the surgeon himself finds attractive in a nose. Look at the people who work in his office, ask them if they've had him work on them or if they've had anyone work on them.
If someone close to you doesn't support your decision, then they don't, oh well. You & your new beautiful nose will go elsewhere :) Just kidding. Personally I didn't tell anyone I had my procedure done, not even my boyfriend of 2 yrs. Got it done while he was out of town, and when he came back he didn't even notice.
You will definitely need someone who fully supports your decision to be there to take care of you, though. The first few days or even weeks after this procedure you might not look like yourself completely or you might be swollen or bruised or think you've made a horrible decision. When you're in this state of feeling uneasy, the last thing you'll want is someone sitting there saying "see, I told you, you didn't need it".
