I did the same thing Spycegrl, I told my mother and my sisters last minute like a week before. My boyfriend and (surprisingly) my father were the only supportive ones through out this whole ordeal. My sister even refused to pick me up from the hospital because she didn't agree. I think it takes a strong woman to do what we have done.

You are right, but that gave me no excuse to lash out at a complete stranger, again my apologies from woman to woman. I honestly feel like people do not understand how we percieve ourselves and that is where all the tension comes in. One wants to be satisfied with themselves when they look in the mirror. Your friend, or in my case my sisters and mother, do not look at ourselves everyday in the mirror. They do not see ourselves the way we do. I really appreciate and respect your last statement "love yourself no matter what," I am 23 years old and i struggle with that everyday. That is very significant advice. Thank you tmbirdie.

Im sorry for being so confrontational. Thank you for the compliment. I did not get much support from my loved ones so this hasn't been the easiest journey. I wish you the best of luck though :)
