I sleep on my side on a wedge pillow with a couple extra pillows and one under the breast then when I turn over in the night I move the pillow and readjust it. I still sleep in a sports bra too. Hoping to feel normal again soon. I'm at 5 and a half weeks. I sleep pretty well at night on my side with my pillows. I've never been a stomach sleeper.

My husband hasn't seen them much 'cause I'M not comfortable with them yet. but i'm sure as they look better and better we'll both enjoy the new look. Hang in there and be patient...this is just a slow healing process.

I'm finally back home from a two week vacation...came home a day early because of weather in Minnesota and Chicago. I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and still red on the lower half of both blobs and probably swollen too. I'm also still in my surgical bras during the day because they're more comfortable and I sleep in a fruit of the loom sports bra. Not a lot of pain just uncomfortable and not feeling "normal" yet. Hoping the next couple of weeks will make a big difference. I don't see my Ps until February 11th. Still I'll be glad I did this and will be happy when I can exercise, walk, etc....blessings.

my girls were different sizes BEFORE the surgery...right larger than left. So i'm thrilled with how they're looking. still a dd but i'm boxy and swollen too so am confident that i'll be a c or d like i wanted. Still, i fit so much better in my clothes than before and am not hanging out of my bras anymore. they fit like they're supposed to! I'm 3 and a half weeks now so i'm gonna try to be patient until i'm at least 3and a half months out. i know it will be better than were i was before surgery. also my dr said the red swollen was normal. they were black and blue and purple and yellow etc....so no infection thank God. she said infections usually happen within the first 5 days after surgery and that they'd be localized sharp pains. i still just take a tylenol if i'm feeling uncomfortable and try to rest as much as possible. blessings to all of you!

i called my primary care doctor and started a z-pack (antibiotics) for my upper respitory infection yesterday and have a call in to my ps for the swollen redness....though it does look a little better today. i wish i knew how to post pictures but am not tech savvy enough to do that. Also my sister knows an er nurse who could possibly take a look and advise me at least what to do next. i should hear from ps within the hour, though. so we'll see what she says. still no pain so i'm thankful for that. i iced the girls a little while last night and that felt good. I have two baggies of water in the freezer right now shaped over wadded up plastic bags ( to try and similate the curve of my breasts) as an experiment to see if that will work for tonight if the ps says it's ok. the itching has begun! ugh! (:-) still gonna be glad when this is all said and done. still no fever or pain, etc...so hopefully can overcome this bump in the road quickly. blessings to you all...especially those who are back at work! my prayers are with you. don't know how i'd face that with these healing issues.
