I agree, by about 5 weeks post- op you should be fine attending your brother's wedding. You won't have all of your energy back and might need to call it a night earlier than usual, but you'll be able to enjoy it. :) I really don't know how to advise you about shopping. I'm not someone who likes to postpone things, so I would have felt it necessary to find a dress around 3 weeks post-op, lol, which wouldn't have happened...I was VERY swollen then (but I also had significant lipo) and pretty sore, too. If it were me, I might go to the store now and identify a few possibilities. I think you'll be fine going to the wedding at 5 weeks post-op, though! Have fun!! And good luck with your surgery! :)
I had the same experience last week at my 3 month appointment! It's the best feeling, isn't it ?! You do look amazing!! :) did you mean 2.5 months? My tt was 1/2, and I'm finally 3 months officially today! I'm super excited because it means I can start lifting my daughter again! Yay!!
I'm not happy about my belly button. It has dark red scars at the top and bottom. :( My big scar is looking good, though. It's very flat and smooth, though it's of course still quite dark red. I do have a dog ear at one end, though, that will require a simple revision (in my PS office) this summer. I've been using the silicone strips on my big tt scar but not my belly button. I wonder if it's too late to start that. Think I'll start it ASAP today! Maybe there's still hope for it.
