  Most likely there will be one around in January. FYI: I had a chat with my manager the same day I had that dental visit and apparently he knows some adults (around my age) with ceramic braces. So that gave me some additional comfort.

  Thanks Gingerbelle; you have made some good points. Yes, I looked at them today and they appeared a bit low profile compared to some other metal braces I have seen, so hopefully I will go unnoticed. It's just that I really haven't seen any guys my age going for this option this late, so I have been a bit anxious.

  Hello T: I have returned from a dental visit. Bottomline: I need to choose between Invisalign or ceramic braces. Until a few hours ago I was inclined towards invisalign but after today's visit and after reading your past I am thinking about going with ceramic braces. However, since I am 42 I feel a bit awkward imagining myself with braces on. Any suggestions? Thanks.
