I miss you too girl! I was reading up on Scarprin, ScarGuard, and Bio-Oil. They all have pretty good reviews, but I'm just wondering which one really works the best. I need these scars practically gone before summertime because I don't wanna have to keep checking myself when I'm in my bikini!

Getting my consultation moved up was pure luck. I called the day before Thanksgiving (three weeks after when I initially called and got the original consultation date) and I basically explained my situation with school and other things and expressed that I was 1000% sure I wanted Dr J as my surgeon, but that I needed to have the surgery between Feb and April, or I would have to go elsewhere because no other time would work until after the summer of 2014. Also, I live in Chicago and I told them I'd be flying all the way to Atlanta JUST to see Dr J in person for my consultation because that's how serious I was. I also stressed that I was willing to pay the deposit ahead of time if that would help, but they said I didn't have to do that, and they squeezed me in for a consultation on Dec 12. I went to that, paid my deposit, and scheduled surgery for April 15. As for getting an earlier surgery date, I switched with someone and she took my date of April 15, and I got her date of Feb 14. Granted, this was almost 4 months ago, and their policies have changed since then. Someone said that they are no longer allowing people to switch dates with other people, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Yeah, my consultation was in-house as well. And don't be turned off by their approach because at the end of the day, it is a business just like everything else. He has become so busy with callers, but there are still lots of people that book consultations and don't show up, or book surgeries but then cancel at the last minute, or all kinds of things like that. So, they just figured they can separate those who are serious from those who are not by taking cash patients first. They know that if you are walking in ready to pay your deposit or pay for your surgery, then you are serious, and they will accommodate you as best as they can. Good luck girl! I'm gonna check out your page so I can follow your updates.
