Hey December BR Ladies! Friday I have my four month follow-up appointment. Surgery was December 11th. All is good .. very little pain and the girls have softened quite a bit. My scar tissue is minimal as I have been massaging with scar oil often .. actually, that's my husband's job (poor guy). Most of the time I still sleep with a bra but with very light support bras. As for size, I went from a 34G before surgery to a 34C/D. Given I need to lose 15 - 20 lbs, I should be comfortably in a 34C. I wish you all well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my BR! Take care. Beachy - when did you start wearing underwires? I've been reluctant to wearing them, thinking they would be painful around the incision area. I have attempted to go bra-less while sleeping but felt uncomfortable both times. Probably just need to get use to the feeling. I tried on bras at the Hanes outlet store last week. Some makes/styles I fit into a 34c. While others I had to bump up to a 34d. I am very content with what I have now!

How strange! I was 34DDD before surgery (12/11), had 450 grams from one side then 420 grams from other and I'm down to 34C. What did your PS say when you asked him how this could be?

My husband happily volunteered to apply oil and massage .. several times a day! I think he's okay with the new me.

Had my 6 week checkup yesterday. PS says almost all the swelling is gone, the girls are looking perfect and no restrictions! Sweet!! I told him that week 5 was definitely a turning point for me. However, the first four weeks were an uphill battle (that I thought I was losing many times). Keep the faith, ladies! Things will turn around.
