I honestly do no know but I will definitely ask my doctor come Friday and ill let you know what I find out :) but I'd assume it varies per person. As far as the tape goes the nurse said its only 3-5 really and it's just to help with swelling- it's more just tape set on top of my nose which I can remove but she asked that I keep it on for at least 3-5 days
