I know it is not fair. I live in Sk. It only took a month for my pre-op but my surgery has not been scheduled. I have to wait at least 6 months to 15 months before I can have my surgery. My sister is on Ontario she waited about two months for her referral, saw the surgeon the next week. It took about two months to get approved and she can book whenever she wants. She is losing some weight so she has opted to do the surgery in August. It will be at least Christmas before its realistic for me to hope for my date. Right now I am studying for finals and I can barely sit still. It is very frustrating.
I don't think that they can narrow the width of your breasts were the are attached. That might have something to do with it, also if he takes too much breast tissue out it could damage the nipple complex and compromise blood flow. You could lose your nipple if he goes too small. I am not sure but I have read on here that if you lose weight (and breast tissue) you might be able to end up closer to the size you want...because he would still be removing the same amount. My doctor said I will be no smaller than a C...I am happy with that, focus on the positive no back pain, proportionate and perky breasts! Good luck.
It looks like they raised your crease, I think thats why you have two folds. It seems likely that when they settle the new fold will remain and the bottom will flatten out. My doctor said (I am having the similar type) that the skin retracts significantly and it should tighten up. He said that it can take longer (1.5 years!) to fully retract and drop etc and to see final shape. I would talk to your doctor and see but dont worry it super early still and you have a lot of healing to do. But the size looks great. Happy healing!
