I've just been diagnosed with Lyme disease (high positive through a private U.S. lab, Canadian testing isn't reliable). Has anyone else been tested since they've had botox complications? I do remember reading on this forum that one person's lyme disease symptoms returned after getting botox. I realize that some of my tests could have been affected by the botox 'infection' but I tested high positive to a part of the test that tests specifically for Lyme disease. I was told on no uncertain terms that it's not possible that this part of the test could be affected by the Botox or Epstein Barr, which I had years ago and therefore will have in my system for life. I'm just trying to figure this whole mess out because my seizures are getting worse and I feel like I've gone backwards 10 mths in my recovery. Thanks.
I am exactly at 12 mths tomorrow since the injections. I spent a fortune at Naturopaths offices, etc..let me pass on to you what I was told to do:
consider taking herbal calm, it helped me alot with anxiety and depression.
Ortho-Adapt for your adrenals because botox does a number on the adrenals, and consider Ortho-Sleep because sleep is crucial to your recovery. Eat as many leafy green vegetables as you can and eat healthy proteins. No junk food, no alcohol, and limit your sugar intake. I still have the tingling in my head, neck and some weakness in various body parts, but the above-mentioned suggestions have helped alot. I am finally more social these days and I'm not anything as anxious. Please keep posting here every day if you want, to keep in touch and know that we really care about your recovery. When you wake up each day, just think about getting through one day at a time because understandably you're over-whelmed right now. Time will pass and you will start feeling better and better if you take the neccessary steps DAILY to heal your body. I get vitamin iv's from my Naturopath, they have helped alot. Hang in there.
Yes I have, but I felt worse it seemed because I'm now very sensitive to all medications, so I stopped. Ozone therapy as well as vitamin drips from my Naturopath got me through this first year. I will continue with these treatments, as well as natural sleep aids and natural anti-anxiety aids. I meditate daily, try to do this before your anxiety levels rise. Hang in there, in time we should feel much better.
