It has been 4 months, and I haven't noticed that the nipple dropped. The breasts are more rounded and natural looking. I think they will look even better with time.
I just found a thread on this forum that discusses taping. One person said 8 weeks; another said 3 months. One said not at all. I think it would be helpful if someone taped one breast but not the other to observe the results, but it's sure not gonna' be me. Hahaha
Chalup, I was Nov. 15. I, too, saw some awful pics AFTER I had my surg. I am 56, so I'm not even a summer chicken! I think those cases are very rare, so i would try not to worry about it. Also, don't worry about the age thing. From all I've read on this forum, I think my swelling has lasted longer than most people. Also, I know I'm behind them activity-wise. These girls on here talk about going to the gym really soon after surgery. I'm just NOW able to exercise ( and it's limited). The third week was my most difficult. I felt like I had a rubber band stretched around me. The 4th week was better and every week thereafter. My drains were removed 5 days ( i think) post op, and I made it fine. (Also, it didn't hurt when they were taken out. I remember worrying about that.)
