So what's the deal with the midline scar tissue thing? I'm having the exact same issue. The scar tissue is internal but feels like a knot. It's odd....but is it normal?

I've been using the Rejuveness silicone sheeting for about a month and I think that it has really helped. My scar is lighter, less ropey and I feel like the sheeting does a nice job at protecting the sensitve area. I'm a fan. My PS said it wasnt needed but I tell you what, I think that I see noticable difference!
