I had a lift with mine too. That's why I don't need another one. I've gained weight and breast tissue in the last 12 years. I would love to lose 20 lbs. maybe I could get down to the c cup I long for.
I dont think the body absorbs it. I really think you just live with it. I did not have any problems with my implants. I just gained weight and they got bigger and bigger and caused some back pain and sharp pains between them. They would also throb sometimes. I feel so much better with them out. I think women who have problems with capsular contracture should have the capsule removed. Seems like it would just get tighter and tighter even after they are out.
My body does not build a lot of scar tissue so my capsule is very thin. He is just going to remove the implant. It's easier to do that under a local, only a couple of days off of work, you can drive, no drains, only a 1 inch incision under each breast. For me it's a no brainier. It's also half the price. Some people say the capsule will rehab sorb, some say it will cause problems. I won't know that until they've been out for a whle. I think if you have silicone and a leak, you should have a capsulectomy. I had saline.
My doctor just used a needle in the side of the breast and a suction machine. He didn't numb it and it didn't hurt. I felt the needle go in but no major pain. It was awesome to see the saline sucked out. It felt so good to have that weight lifted off my chest. Now there is a little discomfort on one side due to the implant rubbing. Im hoping it's the bra I'm wearing. Good luck.
