Hi I am so glad you posted this. I am waiting for my TT date. But I have mixed feelings. I have waited a long time for this also. My son is 18, and I don't really have help I am a single mom. I am using money I should be saving to do this, but I want it done. I think I have to hire someone as well, but for how long? I am reading all the post and recovering takes such a long time? I want to be back to work in two weeks. Can anyone give me any idea in what condition I will be in? I am an accountant, I really don't move much. Are the drains out in 2 weeks? If not how do you carry it around at work?
Hi did you decide on the US or DR. I am in the same situation. DR has great surgeons but any complication you have no doctor to run to. That is my big dilemma.
hi I scheduled to have it done on April 28th, but now I am torn between Lenox Hill and Harlem. Lenox Hill was so much more organized. But at Harlem, I met with both the resident and the attending Dr. Ofodile, which I like. But Harlem is so disorganized. The prices are comparable.. I need to make a decision soon.
My Surgery is next year, I asked my doctor the same question he said that us ok because you are not eating you will loss anywhere between 3 to 10 lbs, without working out. I hope this helps.
