My concern is not just for the country, but there are so many stories about unqualified Doctors and some actual horror stories that have surfaced from practices in Mexico. I know some are true and some are exaggerated, but I am not sure how one is able to ascertain whom is actually worth the risk. My family is saying that it is my face and if it is botched, I will have to live with it publicly for ever, which is a fact. I am more impressed with the cost in Mexico. It is approx $10-13 in Canada for Facelift, neck and eyes.

I am planning similar procedures for myself. I am a senior so it will definitely make an impact on my appearance. I wouldn't worry about the reaction of 'friends'. If you find some that can't handle your successes, they weren't really friends in the first place. You look great btw. I was considering Mexico but everyone has discouraged me from going out of country, especially Mexico. Thus, I am now looking locally near Toronto. Where do you live?
I am interested to know what surgery was done and if anyone who has had surgery is willing for me to phone them so I can get a personal referral and some idea of what to expect etc. I am wanting some cosmetic surgery done and I want to be sure to get it done right!
