Sooooo... i ended up not going with Dr. Yily. i do believe that she is probably a great doctor and is great at what she does. But it really didnt show when i went for her consultation. First, i walk in her so called office and she immediately wanted to send me to get blood work and my cardiovascular exam when i only wanted a consultation. So then idk if she got pissed off or if it was that strong attitude everyone keeps talking about but it seemed like she was pissed off that she wasnt going to operate me that day. So then she sends me to her so called office which she shares with her secretary and she tells her secretary to handle me. Then she comes tells me to undress myself in front of her secretary and my cousin and mother as if i was comfortable smh. Oh and the fact that im from the dominican republic and nobody knows of her was a little iffy to me. Idk i was just really teamYily for while until i actually realized that i would rather get operated by someone i feel safe with and not someone who operates so many ppl in a day and is just trying to build a name. Im truly not trying to bash Yily because im sure she does do a great job. I just didnt feel safe enough to let her operate me. So i did a little more reserch once i got here since all my family lives here and i was going to go with either Dr. Nestor Julio or Dr. Jesus Abreu. I ended up going with Dr. Abreu he his a lot more expensive but its still way cheaper than the states. His office is beautiful i dont even think they have offices like that in the states i was truly in shock. well im not going to keep rambling. he was just much more professional and made me feel like he trylu new what hes was doing. I also ended up only being able to get my breast lift and not the lipo becuase i bled to much from my breasts and the doctor did not want me to be in danger if i did the lipo. This is something i was very happy about because any other doctor in the d.r would have definetely continued to do the lipossuction just for the money. I will be a week post op on Monday and im already loving my results. Ill keep you guys posted after my appointment on Monday.
