Also, it's important to mention that not everyone has the same experience... I am 4 weeks PO and operating fairly normally. I went back to work (NOT a desk job, but no heavy lifting) at day 12 and was fine. I've had some "down" days, but I've just gotten extra rest when I needed it and moved on. I don't have a 6-month old, but I think it can probably be done in some cases. I only took pain meds for the first 4-5 days, after that it was Tylenol only, with no troubles. Good luck!
Hey all! I am 20 days PO now, and although I still get tired very easily and I'm definitely not 100%, I just have to say... This has been TOTALLY worth it! My tummy looks amazing, clothes look better on me now, and I LOVE bending over without the "roll" hanging over, lol. Even though I was cursing at myself those last few days with the drains, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. :)
And THIS is why I love this site! :). FYI - my PS's nurse told me the first time you do the deed it is much better to have your man come from behind... Says it won't hurt your belly that way :)
