When I peeked at mine, my heart skipped a beat, I got that stomach dropping/roller coaster feeling and I almost had tears in my eyes because I thought that he didn't take enough off. I was dealing with so much back/shoulder/arm pain everyday that I could care less if I ended up flat chested. I clearly expressed this to my surgeon. It's been 16 days since surgery and I have no back pain and I'm totally used to the size now. Keep in mind a few things. I believe there is a difference in the shape and size of the end result with regards to the density of the tissue. The firmness of the tissue. Also, reduced breasts will change in shape and size over the course of the next year. This is what my surgeon told me and I believe it to be true. Hang in there.

Awww don't feel like that honey...and don't be so hard on yourself with regards to being a hermit or not showing your bod to the opposite sex. You look great, you really do. Give yourself some time. My surgery was last week (possibly the same date as yours Dec.11th) and it was the opposite for me. I peaked at myself and winced because I thought I was still too big. Since then it's gotten better and they're totally growing on me. I think perception is a little "off" for all of us since we're so used to looking at such large, pendulum, disproportionally shaped breasts. I'm 44 years old and should have done this 20 years ago. You're saving yourself a LOT of pain and discomfort in which I wish I would have done. Warm thoughts to you annika.

I think you have your private messages control turned off. I was going to tell you about my experience (a little long to put into a comment.) Either/or I'm glad everything went well for you and you're home recovering. Keep feeling good :)

GOOD FOR YOU! Congratulations on your surgery! This site is great. It makes me happy to hear others just as happy as I am about having no more pain. I'll shoot you a message so look for it. We're in our 40's, we should have done this many years ago. Still glad I took the leap now though.
