Wow - Sounds like the first few days were pretty rough :-( I'm surprised that you were up and walking around right away. Probably shouldn't have been up that quickly. Advice - put you feet up when you get home and stay off them. Enjoy being catered to for about two weeks. I find that every doctor is different with the suit..mine says about 3 months 24 hours YIKES! Just remember that the skin needs to remain flat in order for the scar tissue to heal smooth. I would ask your doctor about that when you see him next. I'm glad you're doing better. Take is slow..this week I wana go, go, go but still tired at night. Take care and keep posting :)
I read you comment on my blog and it definitely sound like our shapes are the same. My doctor referrd to my shape before like a mushroom. Gee thanks I said..you really know how to sweet talk a girl. But he mean't no harm and just wanted to give me a picture so that when I look at myself now and thru this healing process I will see myself differently.
As I mentioned on my blog the pain was not bad at all. Make sure to tell your husband to keep you on the pain med's for at least 48 hours...I had 3 days before going back to work. I kept taking the pain meds on a regular schedule until I was at work. I took ibuprophen at work during the day and when I went home pain med.
The first week in the torture device will be challenging...but be patient I promise by week 2 it won't be so bad.
Good luck and I can't wait to read how everthing went.
