Days 2-5 were the worst for me but the pain goes away very quickly. You look great btw, I took Tylenol 3's they were prescribed but you can get Tylenol 1's over the counter if ibuprofen doesn't work. My only advice with any pain meds is take stool softener/laxitive I didn't poop for almost 9 days that was the worst. Happy healing as well:)

Hi there, first good luck with everything :) Right when I woke up from my general anesthetic I felt a bit of burning from the incision sites, but it was well managed with medication. I left the clinic about 1-2 hours after my surgery, they put my compression garment on and I stood up and went to the bathroom, and was on my way home (someone had to pick me up). I was prescribed Tylenol 3's and they did wonders, only depended on them the first 12 hours then it was ok. The worst pain is going from sitting to standing or moving position, I found it difficult to sit straight up the first couple of days too, but nothing too bad. I think the worst pain for me was the constipation from the pain medication so I took stool softeners and laxative, I feel much better. My bruising was bad the first couple of days but is going down very quickly, I had a lot of my lower abdomen and my hips, they are fading a lot though. Don't be too nervous it seems so much worse then it is, once its over you'll ask yourself why you were so nervous, because I was very nervous as well.

To be honest the pain is not too bad, I barely take my Tylenol 3's, you could probably do extra strength Tylenol. I have an 18 month old son, and I have no problems, its just hard going from sitting to standing and vice versa. The day of my surgery I cooked dinner, just didn't lift my son into his crib etc as I have stitches in. I have had no problem doing much, I think my 3rd day was the worst so far, but it'll only go up from there. I am sure everything will be great, try not to be too nervous :)

I cannot remember what he said specifically, but I see him 3 Jan 13, so I would assume until then, it isn't too uncomfortable, however, from wearing it it's creating bumps, like if you were to wear a corset, and I am hoping that doesn't effect my body contour. I am so swollen today everywhere, I was so disappointed to see, but it will all go down, it just takes time and patience. Also thank you, I cannot wait for the final result by next summer, hopefully will be bathing suit ready :)
