I had a full tummy tuck surgery a year ago . I continue to have swelling and sensitivity to the touch . If I dont use a girdle my belly gets bloated and it feels as if is going to explode. I use cold packs to relive swelling and pain, as I am not tolerating heat. A surgeon told me that it seems stitches losen in one side as one side gets bigger than the other. He said I need surgery to repair it but he might need to put a layer of tissue over the damaged tissue. I did not understand what he is going to do . What should I expect , do I get my previous scar open again o do I get a new scar. Is this repair surgery an easy one or do I will expect any risk. Do the repair will leave me with a big and ugly scar? Does the belly will go flat again after this repair surgery? Please help!
