Tigerwife, I will be 2 weeks post op tomorrow and could eadily go back to work now and I am 53. I suffered zero pain just extreme soreness. The drains are a hassle and it's best if you can have some put your gauze on for about 5 days. After that I did everything myself. I don't have 4 children either. Don't overstress. I followrd beckrsr on youtube for months. Way to much strss when after one week you will be good. Best of luck and just be ptepared with cough drop, pain pills, gauze and paper tape.
13 days post op and doing grest especially dince I am 53. Once I get these two drains out I will be a new woman. I am sleeping in my own bed for two nights now but have had a headache every morning for 4 days. I think it is from staying to still at night. Hope you all are healing well.
Had the same thing 11 days ago. It was a walk in the parl compared to what I had imagined. Sore- yes, pain-no. I also walked and got up and did for myself. Feeling great and will get these drains out Wed. Good luck and have no fear!
Today is 10 days post op. I may have overdone it because I am really tired today. Will get my drains out Wed. I will have had them 15 days. I sure feel for people who have to live with permanent tubing for illnesses. I will probably feel better when I get up and get a shower. Hope everyone is healing well.
