I thank you all .. It is scary but we are following your general instructions and I have been cleaning around the wound with peroxide and have been using an ointment since reading other stories on here ... A. Serra

My husband had a squamous cell the site ws numbed and the wound is quarter sized and 1/4" deep and it has been a month and it is still "mushy" .. What can I do to help with th healing process and how long is this going to take to heal ? We were told that only the MOHS surgery was what he could have, is this true ? I am scared as he has had many skin removals from his body and all were cut off or frozen off and quarterized .. We were given antibiotic , vaseline-like, and all healed slow .. These last were done by The Center of Dermotology in both the Hudson and MOHS in Spring Hill, Florida .. He has had many done but these just seem to be healing slow and the one on top of is head is juts awful ..

I am sorry but I cannot help wonder why if the surgeon was did a skin graft , which sounds like cosmetic surgery to me, you had such a poor result.
