Yeah I was thinking that too. And maybe all the meds? I had to switch my antibiotic so I was on meds for a little over 2 weeks. I think it'll get better once I'm more stretched out. I'm still slightly hunched over.
I had a table box with all my meds, emergen-c immunity, roll of TP, lip balm, pen and drain log, phone charger, MacBook and charger. A sat in a recliner for a week with some pillows and a warm blanket. Used a chair from the kitchen table as a walker to and from the bathroom. Used a similar chair in the shower with a towel on it so I wouldn't slip. Used a long string or stretchy headband to clip my drains to during the shower. Honestly, you don't need a bunch of crazy stuff. Just think of all the little products/stuff you use during the day and keep them in arms reach. For me that was pain meds, water, phone and charger, and lip balm. It's good to get up and walk- it reduces the risk of blood clots and pneumonia (I'm a nurse). We make all our surgical patients walk ASAP after 1 day or chest tube removal. Flex your feet while you're sitting. Let people wait on you but do get up, you'll feel better quicker. And take vitamins. Vit c and zinc are good for healing. I used protein shakes too. The mix 1 brand is easy on the stomach and all natural. Good luck! The first few days are the worst and you may wonder why in the world you PAID to have this done to you but trust me, it gets better quickly and you'll look and feel fabulous!
Just yesterday I was cleared to drive. I had my TT on Nov 14. He said if I can check my blind spots comfortably and am off the pain meds I can drive. Finally freedom!
