Hey, you are still VERY early into your recovery. Swelling can take up to 6 months to a year depending on the extent of your surgery. Everyone is different. I can relate, since I have just had a skin removal surgery my recovery is happening a bit more rapid; however I am ready for the "REVEAL". Go easy on yourself, and I will speak for everyone out there, we all have our ups and downs. Hang in there - you have had a remarkable journey with your weight loss and now surgery. Would you rather have grape juice or a good aged wine? Nothing of quality happens fast. Best of luck on a speed recovery. Your incision looks awesome!

Well, what I can say is mirror what other have said - everyone is different. It really all depends on the type of surgery you have and the MD's technique. I did not have an muscle repair, it was just removal of lose skin, so I think the drainage is less. I hope you a fast and speedy recovery! Be well.

Hey there- thank you for your story. I just had my TT last week and I am anxious for my results. Do you have any current pics you can post to give me hope this swelling will end? I'm happy with my results so far but worried I won't be as lean now. Thanks

Good Morning! I had a PERFECT night's sleep. Here is a tip - I laid on the so with 3 pillows behind my head and back, and I slept with my fet elevated on 3 pillows - 8 hours full sleep. I feel pretty good, today is 2nd day PO. I slept upstairs, so climbing stairs is keeping me excercised and blood moving. I am still walking a bit bent over. My main concern is that I still have not had a BM yet. I have a feeling I will be requesting a young and an old preist. My drainage has slowed down quite a bit, hopefully another day or two and they will be out That is all I have for now, so I hope everyone has a GREAT day!

Hi there! Do not worry about not being able to straighten up when standing. Everyone will have thier own thier own recovery time-it's perfectly normal, and it will depend on how much muscle and skin they removed. Congratulations on a BIG step! I wish you a happy and painless recovery.
