PO Day 20; Diva is now on the FLAT SIDE with a TT, MR, Lipo(Flanks)

It really does get better. I didn't have any pain in the beginning and time has flown by and I am now three weeks PO

I remember those feelings and once it is all over with, you will sit back and think why you were even nervous in the first place. I am anxious for you as well...when I get up in the morning and head out for my appointment, you will be at your hospital. The healing time is the best time...it gives you time to reflect on yourself. I have heard some people go thru the depression and think "why did they do this to themselves", but to be honest, I never did have that depression nor the thought. As long as you have positive, powerful, prayed up people around you....your journey will be blessed

I am so glad that I had to stay overnight. The help was a huge help with the nurses and everything. They were the best and I really didnt want to leave because they treated me with kid gloves. I am glad that I had a binder on when I woke up because even to this day, I will take it off once a day for about 20-30 minutes and I cant wait to get it back on. My skin needs to have that closeness and comfort of the binder. I go back on Friday and I am going to ask for a CG. OMG.....I would have died instantly if that would have happened to me. I dont like bugs and I am like your daughter. I dont blame you I would have passed out, died and surgery would have been cancelled due to death. I am sorry but I had to stop and hold on to my stomach with my pillow so that I could laugh at this. I needed that good laugh. Now you are going to have me looking around and covering my ears to make sure nothing is going to get in my ear. I agree with your daughter, that is different but at the same time, if you are screaming in pain she cant start screaming "whats wrong." She will have to think quick on her feet. My daughter that was here for me that really took care of me is my 12 year old daughter. She jumps and does not complain. Your daughter will do the same. She will do a wonderful job. Tell her I have faith in her. What you need to do is when you start to get nervous, just think of that moment and your nerves will go away. Trust me when I tell you, a good story is like an ice breaker and calms the nerves. I am so excited for you because you are almost there, you are down to hours now. What time do you have to be at the hospital?

I was just thinking of you earlier today. I know you are just a ball of nerves but take it from me who was a ball of nerves just like you are now, you will be fine and you will better than that. I am sitting on pins and needles with you and cant wait for it to be over with you. I feel that my swelling has picked back up today but I am going to take my binder off for about 20 minutes so that my skin can breathe and I will see if it really has swelled back up some. I was so happy when I took that pic Sunday at the way the swelling had gone down. I normally do not like taking pics but that is one pic I am loving. Yes, I want to make jaws drop this summer because everyone has only seen me with the butt belly for years and have forgotten what I looked like without that belly. I am now worried that the site that still has the drain has gotten infected. It is draining out onto the guaze and the pad that I have on it and it still somehow leaks out and onto my underwear. It has an odor. I will find out Friday when I go back to the doctor. If you are like me, you will have some sort of electronic in hand so that you can update as soon as you wake up from surgery. Are you going home the same day or staying overnight like I did?
