There are some doctors who primarily do it with tissue expanders, mainly because I don't think they know how to do it Dr A's way. I can't think of any other reason someone would go through that! Do you just hide in your house for 2 months? Silly! Yes, I'm completely healed! Woohoo!
I didn't have any hair grafts done at the time, but it is something I discussed with Dr Aharonov. My hairline looks natural, because it's my same old hairline, just moved lower! I really wish I had known about this sooner. A lot of bad info out there from Drs who don't know what they're doing!
Do searches on forehead reduction surgery and hairline lowering surgery. Look at the before and after photos, and feel comfortable with how they look! Understand the process so you won't be surprised! I went to several consults and chose the one who I felt most comfortable with, and who I thought had pictures of other women like me. You should do the same! I wish I had done it sooner! Good luck!
I had restylane placed under my eyes, and it really helped with the dark circles and the appearance of bags. I think the most important thing is who does the injecting! Make sure you see lots of before and after photos! And if a doctor posts stock photos from Restylane or Juvederm, beware! I wonder why they don't have their own examples! Choose the right doctor, and he/she will make you look great! Good luck!
