It was a long process of weeding out products that were irritating my skin, going to different facials until I found a spa that produced results for me, sticking to a skincare routine, and eating better. The only medication I tried was birth control, which may help as well. My skin still isn't completely clear, but it's much better than before. I'm finally at a point where I accept that no one has perfect skin and I'm happy with what I got. I hope it all works out for you too!
I had cartilage taken from the ear too, so that I can relate to your pain. My ear is still swollen and sore after 10 days, so take care and try not to lean on it while sleeping. The good news is that the ear won't look totally different, only a little different. I agree with the suggestion that you ask about Vicodin if the nausea persists after a few days. I took Vicodin for pain, and Xanax as a sleep aid, and it helped a lot. The first week is the hardest. Get lots of rest and don't push yourself!
Hi luke! I think your nose is great for your face - very straight, masculine, and proportionate. I don't see any humps. A third nose surgery might lead to unpredictable results, as results tend to be with more and more rhinoplasty. Maybe you should talk to your doctor about filler injections if it is still a concern some time from now.
Wow, you are stunning! You look like a supermodel! I'm really amazed that you want to do this considering the common occurrence of revisions. Anyway, advice is to see a lot of consultations, at least 6 doctors and at least 2 times with your final doc, even if you don't consider them as strong contenders from your online research like Grioryants or Ghavami. Like you, I did a lot of online research, but after consultations, I felt that the websites tell very little compared to time the surgeons themselves. Even consults with docs that weren't my favorites ended up being really useful because I got an idea of what is really necessary or unnecessary for my nose, and it helped me analyze the favorite doctors' styles better. Some docs even dished on their opinions and stories about other doctors - that's the kind of information I would have never gotten from online reviews! Good luck to you! (I didn't use CareCredit, as I saved up and paid in cash, but keep in mind to ask about medication costs too! Those can add up and they're usually not part of your surgery fees.)
Yes! Lots of soft foods (apple sauce, yogurt, jello, bread, etc) and drinks, all your medication beforehand, gel ice packs, cotton swabs, gauze, tape, ointment, and a way to sleep at a 45 degree angle. Most importantly: mental preparation! From what I see, you're really GORGEOUS, more than you think you are. So it might be really jarring to see your nose swell up so much after surgery. The final result does take months to appear, and you may look really different during that time, so prepare yourself well.
