    I would see if Kaiser would allow a consult - I was your size and was approved by them in California and Hawaii and it was a $60 co-pay in Honolulu. Good luck - I had blue cross tell me it was a pre-existing condition in 1998 - give me a break - of course they were pre-existing! Had 'em since I was 13!!! Good luck it will work out!

    Thank you everyone for all of your encouraging words! I am 3.5 weeks in and healing - slowly but so grateful I did it! I am ready for the 6 mos to pass so I can see the results - so far though I am pleased. Aloha all!
